Setting up Delivery

I gave DTG a call and spoke with a wonderful customer service agent that answered all my questions and even told me I could customize my order so I didn't have to eat stuff I didn't like. I don't have any food allegies but they can help you with that if necessary. I am more concerned about getting food I know I wouldn't like because my taste buds are picky. They have different meal plans you can purchase (low fat, veggie, low carb, 1200 cal, 1600 cal). They also have a 5 day or 7 day delivery option and an option that only includes lunch and dinners. I like that you have all these choices. I choose the low fat, 1200 calorie, 7 day plan. I thought I should start with that because left to choose my own two meals a week would be automatic sabbotage. My plan was $120 plus shipping ($20). But the first week you can mention an internet ad and get one day of food free (which they just subtract from your total). So shipping is free the first week basically. They ship on Mondays and you recieve the food around Thursday. You can learn all this stuff from the site so I'm just giving an overview. So I was all set up.

I recieved my package on Thursday but I decided to start today (Saturday) after some personal issues (not being able to pass on free breakfast and Ben & Jerry chocolate fudge brownie ice cream yesterday). Did I mention I'm terrible at turning down food and making healthy food choices? So yeah, today is my first official day. The package comes in a styrofoam cooler with dry ice and everything was still frozen (yay!) It also comes with a checklist and a separate package for items that don't have to be refrigerated. I don't have a pic of the packaging but I will take one when my next order comes. Everything was there and the packages include heating instructions on the back. They also have instructions you can download from the site. Oh you can also check the site for the menus, they have a 5 week rotating schedule so you shouldn't get bored.
