Uh-oh
spaghettiO's, I think there may have been something wrong with this yogurt.

And I was so disappointed because I was really looking forward to this breakfast. But when I opened the yogurt it looked... separated? cottage cheesy? i don't know, just wrong. So I'm not sure if that's how its supposed to look or not since it was freshly made, frozen and then thawed out. I'm used to my yogurt being smooth and the look just made my stomach turn. I also didn't want to take any chances, I refuse to get sick and have an excuse to not continue my diet. So I had a
Greek yogurt in the fridge that I had wanted to try after hearing good things from my mother in law. I decided to throw some of my own granola on it and go to town. Well... I sure didn't go to town with that sour, bitter concoction. My face grimaced at the first lick of the spoon. I tried to do a few spoonfuls but mostly just ate the granola I had put on top.

Now on to the muffin, it was delicious! It tasted so sweet and moist. I read the heating directions on the website that said to wrap in moist paper towel before microwaving and that worked great. It was still soft and moist when it came out, I microwaved it for about 10 seconds. It was one the best
cornbread muffins I've ever tasted. Could mix it with some collard greens for dinner and I'd feel like my grandma was back with me...
ok, stay focused Tish. So I had the muffin and water and I actually felt fine after that. I don't need a heavy breakfast anyway because lunch is so close to breakfast that I don't have time to get really hungry anyway. I will try the yogurt again and eat it as soon as it thaws out instead of leaving it in the fridge a few days because it looked like it would taste great. And of course I will let you know how it turns out.
