First of all welcome to my journey, thanks for taking the time to check it out.

I started a weight loss meal delivery program called Diet To Go (DTG) and I am blogging about my journey.

I started this journey once last year (2009) but now I am starting it again. My first meal was on 11/4/10.

DTG has a rotating 5 week menu. I will blog pictures and opinions of each of the meals for the first 5 weeks. I will still continue to blog my journey from that point on but without pictures unless I try a new meal.

My goal is to lose 50lbs. I will blog until I reach my goal... and maybe after as well.

I am on the 1600 calorie, low fat, 5 day, breakfast, lunch and dinner plan. I was going to do the 1200 calorie plan but once I checked the caloric needs for my weight I realized the 1600 calorie plan was the way to go.

I weigh-in on Sundays. I started DTG on a Thursday and I planned on making that my weigh-in day but Sunday just feels better to me.

I'm not going in order with the meals. They are delivered once a week and I will eat all the meals during that week but not in the daily order. I like the freedom of being able to choose what I want to eat that day.

I don't like veggies. I tolerate them, I am working on loving them and including them in my daily diet. I note this so that if I say the veggie was not good, take my opinion with a grain of salt.

I am a very picky eater. I only like certain things and the only thing that truly satisfies me is sweets.
