B - Whole Grain Pancakes, Strawberry Maple Syrup, Turkey Sausage

Yum yum yum. I love pancakes for breakfast but I will admit I wasn't sure I would love this one. First of all, whole grain pancakes. Second of all, strawberry maple syrup. I had the blueberry pancakes last time I tried DTG and I loved them. But they were not whole grain and they came with maple syrup. But I was pleasantly surprised. The pancakes, unlike the whole grain ones that I'm used to, were fluffy, soft and moist. And they were very tasty. The syrup tasted like sorbet to me. I still prefer plain maple but this was actually very good as well. And they give you a great portion of it. There's nothing worse then dry bread in my opinion. I didn't have to worry about that here. And that turkey sausage was flavored so wonderfully I couldn't even tell the difference between that and a pork one. I am, however, a fan of turkey products (bacon, burgers, etc.) so I was not concerned about that.

I'm guessing the 1200 cal version would only have 2 pancakes. I'm so happy I doubled up on this one. Looking forward to having it again on Wednesday.
