A Change is Coming... 1600 is here to stay
As I was blogging this morning about my chili dinner I had last night it dawned on me that I should check out the caloric needs for my weight. I have never been this size when starting a diet and I was just use to doing a 1200 calorie diet. Well I checked it out and 1200 is indeed too low for me. I had already changed my plan to 1200 yesterday but I figured it out at about 11:55a.m. and called right away as to not miss the 12 noon cut off. Thank God for that. If I would have tried to do 1200 and add in exercise I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have made it. The 1600 plan is only about $10 more per week so it's an easy decision. I was just doing the 1200 because I thought that was what my body needed. Always good to check I guess, if you want to check yours out I found a great calorie calculator. 1200 would basically be like starvation for me. Once I start losing weight and get to a certain number then I will need to go to 1200 to continue losing, but I will cross that bridge when I get to it, lol.

Thanks for the tip. I'm on my first week and just picked 1200 thinking that's best for weight loss.... But I'm at a weight currently where the 1600 makes much more sense. Guess I'll be changing that for next week and adding a few snacks this week.
